Welcome to the new PreCentral.net!

Welcome to the new PreCentral.net!  ...Just like the old PreCentral.net, but a lot nicer to look at.

If you're looking for new features, we have just a few.  There are some nice drop-downs on on blog page menus now for faster access to what you need.  You'll also notice that we've also made the PreCentral.net Palm Pre Forums live -- they are shared with our TreoCentral forums (in a nice clean way), so your login there will also work here.  You can also find the forums in mobile form at http://m.forums.precentral.net.  We've also thrown in links to our most-emailed stories and our most-popular tags for good measure.  Oh, and be sure to check out the Related Articles block in the sidebar when you are viewing a story.  (Ok, so maybe there are more than a "just a few" new features)

All the old features you know and love are still here: the same login on both the forums and the frontpage; threaded comments; quick access to the most important types of searches via those tabs; easy-to-find featured articles and other content in the side bar; a mobile version if you're looking to browse and comment from your non-Pre smartphone; and most importantly: the same crack team of Pre fanatics that has been serving up all the latest Pre information your little heart desires.

If you're looking for new bugs, well, let us know if you find any. :)

Love the new look! Very clean and streamlined.

when u click on the title the font is too big and its orange

Ack! Fixed! Sorry about that.

Lookin good!

This is lovely! Much cleaner, and far more refined than the previous version.

Now where is the option to change the color?

Fantastic! I'm lovin' it! Can't wait to view the beauty of this page with my Pre.

Anyone else think it looks like a green Google Chrome?

I still think its the wrong name for you guys, being that the Pre is only 1 phone of many based on webOS. You guys should get something like webOScentral, Palmcentral or somthing like it. Either way, love the new look, keep up the great work.
P.S. Time for your PalmPre contest, everyone else got it....

When going to the mobile version of the site (Home) the 'Forums' link still points to the mobile treocentral.com forum version. But that's just me being picky.

not at all -- fixing it now!

Wow that was quick, good job. I hope I'm not asking for too much but how about a mobile favicon of the Pre just like the regular website

en route :)

Nice work - I like it!

Very nice. How much?

Orange fonts on the right side go just over the edge of the green header bars for me in Firefox. Also the "follow us on twitter" icons are too big and cut off funny.

Oh, and by the way... I like it!

The green part should go away with time -- they're cached from the old design.

Yeah, that's gone today. But while the RSS icon in the upper right is better now, the twitter icon is still too big to render in its defined space.

There ya go! Nice. It all looks sharp now. Good show.

Looks great! Much cleaner and modern look. Didn't have any complaints about the last one but this looks great. One of the better-looking Drupal sites I've seen.

The twitter banner does look a bit strange under Safari 4 (Mac OS 10.5): example

That'd be a caching issue -- try shift + refresh

When using the mobile version of forum, I wanted to reply. When I hit reply, I got a message saying I should refresh my browser and login. I was already logged in & verfied that at the home page. When I interrupted my session to use the phone & returned to my message, I got a message stating that all cookies were deleted & to log in again.

I like the new layout but the placement of the text within the top menu annoys me, it's like 4 pixels too high.

Yep, much nicer, good work guys! My work is just shifting our site onto Drupal, looks like it's a wise move

This new layout is beautiful! I love how you used the Pre theme colors and feel. Its perfect!

Excellent job by all involved.

The mobile site looks great. I appreciate having the comments under the article on the mobile site.

I like it but I would like to see a pre version theme for the forums created as well (to match this look and feel)
