As noted in our Palm Pre Forums, some cat named "releasemypre" is doing up some videos demanding that Palm really and truly give us a release date. It's some kind of viral and it's some kind of humor (the previous version had an in-apt 'joke-threat' that caused it to be taken down) and it gives us a little smile.
If it's Palm-sponsored viral marketing, we're feeling some desperation as the company runs out of things to tell us until the Pre gets released. If it's genuine, well, yes, we're nearly as desperate and not just for the Pre itself anymore. We just want a release date. Seriously.
In any case, we aren't sure if this is the "Palm Pre Protest Guy" viral series that we know Palm was planning on releasing. It could be, but it's really anyone's guess. We're leaning towards "not."
Whatever the source, we agree with Eguy, every time Mr. Ski Mask hollers "PALM," we feel a connection to his mock rage.

This video was a delight to watch. The drama is what captures your attention but there's also a tender romance in there that really makes you think even weeks afterwards. I left the web page wanting to hear more from these wonderful characters. I haven't read the book yet but I certainly will be.

OMFG! I didnt realize they uploaded another one. Very nice job. In fact, 'screw the what would you do' contest; this guy deserves a pre! (id rather pay for mine). Unlike all the lame ass videos on you-tube, these guys did a nice job. not over-the top and still funny!
