WhoAmI lets us know that the Palm Pre may be guest starring briefly on the next season of Heroes. We all know that Sprint has a major ad campaign for some tv shows, and apparently this includes the new season of Heroes. WhoAmI notes that the Heroes fan site that has images from the new season starting on the 21st of september. Longtime readers will remember the days leading up to the Pre's release, when Sprint's well-known sponsorship of the show led many-a-reader to believe they were seeing Palm Pre phones on the show (usually screencaps revealed they were Palm Treo Pros or even, *gasp* Samsung Instincts.)
Anyone going to watch for the Pre's close up?

I always wondered how Jack was able to defuse a bomb with a Treo 700p at Ontario Airport in Cali. Damn cool app to have though.

I was watching King of the Hill last night (series finale) and Bobby looked like he had a Pre lol.
I wish someone's super power was the ability to make that show good again. First season was great but it has just gotten ridiculous.
ya ill agree with you. it was great at first. then it just got longer and more boring. to much going on and not enough great stuff that keeps you glued to your seat. if i catch it as im flipping through the tv i might stop to check it out, but its dead in my books

I'm very interested to see what's going on in that scene. So Hiro and Ando are looking at an ad featuring themselves? The ad looks like it might be for Hiro and Ando's services as heroes - the Japanese text on the Pre says something like "dial a hero." It looks like it's in the US, though - the phone number looks like a US number and the phone says "Sprint" on it. (Of course I guess it has to say "Sprint" on it if Sprint is paying them...)
There was a big Sprint Pre ad for the new TV show Flashforward in a magazine. Maybe the Pre will be on that show.
Little bit of thread necromancy here, but latest episode of Heroes (3), Nathan uses a Pre to make a call. Time in episode is about 36:33 according the Hulu's clock.
