Reader deCorvett gave us a heads up that along with the launch of Palm Pre in Spain on the Movistar network, they’ve started an advertising campaign on Spanish television. And surprise of surprises they decided to use Palm’s advertising instead of going off what the creative chaps at O2 Germany whipped up. Thankfully, it seems that they’ve skipped over the first set of bizarre Palm ads and borrowed those that actually showed the functions of the phone, even if they are pretty darned dull. But after those sweet German ads, we can’t help but be disappointed, especially considering that Movistar-owner Telefonica owns O2. At least Spanish-voiced lady isn't quite as unnerving as the Dollhouse-serene version we got here.

the Pre is cheaper than the Pixi, something's not right.
The Pre is available "for free" on a 24 month contract with a 15€ data plan and a 59€ voice plan, so that's not the best price you can get. Obviously, plan prices are bigger than yours, lucky americans, but here in Spain they are the same overpriced plans as before. Not worse than other spanish companies, excepting the lowcost ones.
Dinoman, don't compare Sprint and Movistar's device prices, because service prices is very very much cheaper on Sprint.
