Iusacell to also carry Pre in Mexico?

Palm Pre on Iusacell website

While the Palm Pre may be launching on Friday on Telcel (Mexico’s largest cellular network), other networks in the nation are snapping up the Pre as well. In fact, if you go to Iusacell's website you’ll see the Pre displayed front and center with a “cómpralo aquí” (buy here) link that opens a pop-up where you can sign up for more information and to be contacted by a Iusacell representative.

Unlike GSM carrier Telcel and #2 Telefonica, Iusacell is a CDMA network. Regardless of the network, it’s good to see Palm still making headway in expanding the footprint of webOS outside the US. As for when we’ll actually see the Pre on Iusacell is anyone’s guess...

Thanks to Akitayo for the tip!

Photoshop fail. Look at the reflection.

LOL. Yeah. "Mirror images are OPPOSITE of the original, NOT copies" lol.

On a serious note, the more expansion for the Pre & WebOS, the better for all of us. Android got off to a slow start and our platform is further ahead at this stage than they were in their launch period. (Pre > G1 and WebOS 1.3.1 > Andriod 1.0)

Wow. I did not notice that.

jajaja man you would think theyll be more carefull

jajaja they fixed it go to their wedsite

El Pre es el mejor ordenador siempre!

It´s completely true. I bring phones form the US and flash them to Iusacell. Already have sold over 45 PRE´s working with Iusacell and sales regional manager from Iusacell told me about a month ago they had already purchased some.

They work beautifully with the EVDO from Iusacell.

you can flash my sprint pre to usasel?

I've had my pre working with IUSACELL for about 3 months now. I dont understand why someone would buy anything affiliated with telcel. Their data rates are impossible and their devices cost even more. If iusacell did a little bit more advertising they would probably do a lot better. Can't wait for the iusacell pre though, that would mean more accesories for mine and maybe even Iusacell TV.

I have one with USAcell, but I am not getting my palm profile created... it keeps saying 'failed.' Don't get it. Is it necessary to have it to update when a new version of WebOS comes out?

Pre on Iusacell sucks, because they go to Sprint, get the Pre, create a profile, activate the Pre, and then they give it to you.

What does this mean? That if you need to restore your Pre, you can't login to your profile since they won't give you the password!

Besides, they erase the update application so you can't update the phone.

Too bad they don't erase Developers mode access, so I could update a friends Pre on Iusacell by restoring the missing files :D
