Bad Kitty first look... from hal saville on Vimeo.
I've been following @badkittyapp for awhile (the Twitter-presence for Superinhuman Industries), checking their cryptic posts, and I've been wondering "Just what have they been working on? This had better be one heck of a twitter client".
From what we can see in the preview, it looks like it handles multiple Twitter streams in a stylish manner. They've promised more info "soon" and we're going to hold those Bad Kitties to it. In the meantime, though we gotta wonder: is there space in webOS land for another Twitter app?

Guess it depends how much it costs and what it brings to the table. :) I haven't found one particular Twitter app I'm 'in love with' yet. I say bring 'em on!

+3 to whoever on their team came up with the snarky name and logo.
"and we're going to those Bad Kitties to it"
I have no idea what that sentence is supposed to say.
With all of these twitter apps settled.. can we PLEASE get a decent FACEBOOK APP!
I'd have to play with it to see, but it seems like tons of clicks to get to the tweets and inefficient packing of tweets. Twee has great switching at the bottom and Tweed has great pop-ups for quick actions. Both UIs seem more refined than this.
The vertical divisions for sections is different. Not sure if different in a better or worse sense. Definitely doesn't allow to expand with scroll.
Anyone else having problems with filecoaster homebrew list? I keep getting "An error occurred,, exception: failed while parsing, xml not found" Probably just me huh?
Try Resetting your phone - that usually works
ChasPalm
Yo I'm having the same issue and resetting the phone does not resolve the problem!
I stopped using filecoaster in favor of Preware. It allows me to manage patches and apps.
WTB a TheCorePlayer like app....
The UI is pretty good but I just don't like those menus where the text is landscape.
We have 39 tip calculators, 216 restaurant finders and 2,018 dictionaries.
We only have about 4 twitter apps, one more can't hurt.
I can't stand those landscape menus.
why
GOD please...make it stop.
I'm interested, but I'm not sure about that menu. I'll check it out when it's available. In the meantime, Tweed is definitely a sure winner. If Tweetie were to make it to the Palm Pre... that would be awesome.
I guess a Facebook app would be nice if you are into that sort of thing.
Something is going wrong with the filecoaster app. so i suggest that Homebrew look into it.
oh please please please can you help me?!
I am just a regular phone user. I have been with Palm for 2 years (Centro) and I loved it! However I am feeling a little lost and overwhemed with all the tweaking that the pre requires in order to perform some of the basic tasks that my centro did.
I am a stay at home mom, but I coordinate the activities of everyone in my household: appts, extracurricular activities, work schedules, etc on my calendar. On the centro I was able to color coordinate according to category: Holidays, personal, dr. Appt, work schedule, etc. I am a little frustrated that the only two categories I can color coordinate is my palm profile and my google calendar.
I also wish I could forward SMS. And send more than one picture in an MMS message.
I wish I could separate my contacts into categories and assign a ringtone to each cat. And one to unknown callers.
For some reason I can't assign music that I have downloaded as a ringtone for a specific caller, and I'm hoping I'm not stuck with just the ringers the phone came with.
Do you know if palm plans on adding voice recording and video recording?
Now then, I love my pre, I'm just a little frustrated. What are patches? How do I apply them? Where do I get them? Is there anything else I need to know?
HELP!
Hi Holly, sounds like many of the things you are missing can be accomplished through patching the operating system. Of course this has its drawbacks in that you'll have to remove all these patches and re-apply once a new version of WebOS from palm comes out. Preware will allow you to do 90% of what you are looking for and you can follow the instructions on how to install it here: http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/Application:Preware#Installation
WOW this Article has been major hijacked.

we already have a decent facebook app = friendsflow-I use this program daily if not hourly.
Tweed is a good twitter client.
I agree we need something more innovative.
I came on here tonight after a few days absence primarily to see if anyone is having issues with FileCoaster. I am getting the same errors as stated above :( I will check back in later, . Who ever thought it was just me . . Well its Just US LOL )-NIK>

How about more facebook apps. Even a free or a lite to get us started. I don't yet use tweed so personally I don't care. But I still love to see the catalog grow, just wish I benefited from it a bit more.
twitter is junk, stop making apps for it.
"twitter is junk, stop making apps for it."
Yes.
Why don't some of you programmers look at some of the cool apps for iPhone and Android and do something like that?
This looks nice, I'll probably buy it, even though I really like Tweed.
The main thing is that I am glad to see a pretty app finally come along for WebOS. Most of what's there is pure fug (**cough**friendsflow**cough**). Nice to see the style turned up a notch.
I cant stand the landscape menus. This isn't Japan.
